Our Statement in Response to Events of Hate and Violence in our Country and the World
We at Faith UCC remember as Christians the victims of violence, of bigotry, and of intolerance. We pray for comfort and hope for the families and friends of those killed and wounded by racists, and hate groups. We affirm with one voice the principles of human dignity, freedom and justice that provide the foundation for social, religious, and civic life in this nation and throughout the world.
We call upon all people of good will to speak out unequivocally against all ideologies and actions which advocate the ideas of white supremacy, racism, neo-Nazism, and bigotry against Jews, Muslims, other religions, races, ethnic groups, and other minority groups.
