We believe in God the Father almighty who is the creator of heaven and earth.

We believe in Jesus Christ, as God the Father's only Son. He was conceived by the Holy Spirit and born of the Virgin Mary. We believe that Jesus was crucified, died, buried and rose again on the third day after his death. We believe that he ascended into heaven with God the Father, until he returns to earth at an undeterminable time. It is through his life, death and resurrection that we find grace and redemption and the forgiveness for our sins. We believe that individuals need a personal relationship with Christ as their Savior and Lord.

We believe in the Holy Spirit, a force that is actively working in our individual lives and in our church. We believe it is the Holy Spirit that birthed Faith United Church of Christ and it will be the Holy Spirit who continues to build our church.

We believe that the Bible reveals God and God's intent for us and our world. By it we discover our identity and mission as individuals and as a church.

We choose to be a part of the larger Christian Church and listen to the early church mothers and fathers.

These links will take you to bible passages and the Apostle' Creed which support our statement of faith:  Romans 12:9-21 (NIV) - Colossians 3:12-17 (NIV) - 1 Thessalonians 5:9-28 (NIV) - Apostles' Creed

NOTE:  The BibleGateway website has many different online translations of the Bible which can be listened to or read.  Faith Church has selected the New International Version -NIV as the translation we have adopted for our reference and study.
